Padauk lends itself very well to turning work, it is used for musical instruments, manufacturing furniture, tool handles and various handicraft objects. Padauk is a rot-proof wood that requires no treatment. In our case we still treat it with a little oil and beeswax. This treatment helps enhance its beauty and helps prevent graying of parts left outdoors.
